is equipping the Saints with scriptural, foundational, and encouraging counseling books to sharpen one another in the process of sanctification for the glory of God.
This stems from our belief that the Bible is infallible and sufficient to help us grow in our Lord Jesus Christ. Proper hermeneutics, exegetical teaching, and systematic theology are foundational to our core values as a soul care resource provider. We seek to serve others by providing sound, spiritual, and topical books that originate from and are inspired by biblical principles. As a result, our selection of books are meant to represent the aforementioned understandings of biblical counseling. Biblical Counseling Books calls us to love God, love others, and care for souls one book at a time.

BCB was founded...
in 2017 by Steve and Rose Yu. Steve faithfully served as the bookstore manager at a Christian university for over a decade before becoming the pastor of a church in California. Initially, he had no intention of staying in the book business. However, authors, professors, and pastors whom he had met during his time at university did not want to see him leave the books behind. After many talks, dinners, and discussions with sound teachers from various institutions, organizations, and churches, biblicalcounselingbooks.com was born. Today he serves as full-time pastor in Orange County while simultaneously running the online bookstore.
